Terms of use

Your account

• One Shravya account works across every Shravya app. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account.
• Give us accurate details. An account made to impersonate someone else will be removed.
• If you are under 18, use Shravya with a parent or guardian’s consent.
• You can delete your account at any time from Settings, or ask us to by writing to support@shravyaworld.org. The privacy policy says what is deleted and what is kept.

What you post

Articles, gallery creations, forum posts, comments and offers remain yours. By posting them you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, show and adapt them for display on Shravya services, for as long as they are published. Most of what you post is reviewed by a person before it appears.

Do not post anything that:

• is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, hateful, or harmful to children;
• infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark or privacy;
• is spam, a scam, or an attempt to mislead people about who you are;
• contains malware or tries to interfere with the service.

We may remove content, and suspend or close accounts, that break these rules. We act on valid complaints as the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 require; see the Grievance Officer.

S-Coins and points

• S-Coins and points are rewards for using Shravya apps. They have no cash value, cannot be bought, sold or transferred, and cannot be exchanged for money.
• We set and may change how they are earned and what they unlock. Rewards obtained by cheating, automation or exploiting a bug may be removed.
• If the programme ends, balances end with it.

Project work

Sending a project enquiry does not create a contract. Paid work is governed by a separate written agreement that sets out its scope, price and ownership, agreed before any work begins.

Our content and the service

The Shravya name, logo, apps and site content belong to Shravya World. The service is offered free and as it stands; features in Shravya Labs in particular are experimental and may change or be withdrawn. We try to keep everything available but cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to ₹1,000. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Information on the site, including anything the assistant says, is general and not professional advice; see the disclaimer.

Other apps and links

Each Shravya app may have its own additional terms, which apply alongside these. Links to other websites are for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when they last changed, and material changes will be announced on the site. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes fall under the courts at Bengaluru, India.
